- The APTER BAG-IN-BAG-OUT FILTER SYSTEM (BIBO) is used for protecting Workers and technicians from Hazardous toxic material, Bio-hazardous organisms such as viruses and bacteria, while they do the regular Filter replacement for HEPA & ULPA filters in critical areas.
- These Housings are widely used in Hospital Isolation labs, Hospital ICUs for containing and isolating viral contaminants and infectious organisms.
- They are also widely used in Animal Research centres, Nuclear Facilities, Military research centres, Toxic waste isolation plants, pharmaceutical labs.
- APTER BIBO serves as the most effective equipment available for any zone, needing a special critical filtration cleanliness level and negative pressure environment.
- Bag-in & Bag-out Filter system includes pre-filter (and maintenance access door), HEPA or ULPA filter (and maintenance access door), inlet & outlet connecting duct flange unit, frame and mounting bracket.
- The unit Casing are completely factory fabricated and assembled of stainless-steel sheet metal in 304, 316 finish. The unit can also be constructed from carbon steel with Powder Coated finish.
- The equipment is full welded with argon welding except maintenance access door.
- The Unit can be fabricated not only at factory premises but also at site.
- The units come equipped with pressure measurement ports and Magnehelic gauges.
- The Unit can be provided with filtration stages such as Pre-Filter, Fine Filters, HEPA Filter and Molecular filter stages as per application and requirement at site.
- The HEPA filters can be provided in Gasket Seal or Gel Seal configurations.
- The Apter BIBO Housing minimizes exposure to harmful contaminants during filter service through the use of 8 Mil thick- PVC bag enclosure system. The entire filter changing process isolates personnel from the hazardous materials.
- The HEPA filter section can be provided with Scan test sections that allow individual filter scanning for leaks.
- Each filter access door has two ribbed bagging ring assembly for attaching the 8mil thick PVC bag used for removing the filter after usage.
- The Filters are tightly secured using CAM locking mechanism to achieve zero leak performance.
- Isolation dampers can be provided in square or round bubble configurations.
