Features & Advantages
- The APTER UV LAMPS are intended to improve the overall Indoor air quality inside offices, hospitals, restaurants, malls, Industrial plants, residential and commercial buildings.
- The APTER UV lamps are intended to be installed within HVAC system for air pollution control at source, eradicate micro-organisms, reduce VOCs, odour and Grease and improve overall Filtration system efficiency.
- The cooling coils inside HVAC system usually condensates and becomes moist becoming a breeding ground for bacteria and mould such as Aspergillus, Penicillium and Cladosporium.
- US Govt. mandates UV lamps above cooling coils and drain pans to control microbial growth in government buildings.
- APTER UVC lamps not only eradicates the microbes, but also reduces the clogging of coils by not allowing the formation of thin film coating of microbes. UVC achieves this by destroying the DNA structure of Micro-organisms.
- Most of the UV lamps available in the market requires a sizable space inside AHUs for allowing maintenance and servicing of the UV lamps. That is AHUs requires bigger housings.
- Due to the unique design of APTER UV lamps, they are easy to install and requires less space inside AHUs. APTER UVC lamps are slide in type inside filter track with hook up power connections.
- The Face size will 24” x 24” and 24” x 12” UVC filters
- APTER Special Coated UV Lamps can be used to remove unpleasant odours and VOCs.
- Custom made hybrid coating along with UVC could decompose unpleasant odours from VOCs as well. (Such as Acetaldehydes).
- Another merit of this innovative function is that carbon filters in AHU tend to perform better and last longer.
- Hybrid structure also enable the UVC tubes to be self-cleaning. Maintenance only needs to be carried out when the UVC tube life is out (Approximate: 6000hrs).
- The special coated UVC lamps produce Hydroxyl ions (OH-) and Peroxide (H2O2) which are high reactive when UV light falls on it. These reactive ions oxidize greasy dirt on lamp surfaces.
- APTER produces UVC tubes with enhanced hydrophilicity: Cleaning the remaining dirt from the UV tube surface is rather easy.
