Features & Advantages
- The CONDO CARBO filter housings are standardized robust filter casings, designed to take care of commercial as well as Industrial odour removal and gas phase filtration. Filtration stages can be designed for particulate and dust removal also.
- They are mainly used for molecular filtration in heavy duty kitchens, oil and gas industry, refineries, chemical plants, museums, laboratories, factories, hospitals, paper industry.
- The carbon/chemical granules can be selected for specific gas phase contaminant removal.
- Multiple stages of carbon filters, Dwell time and operating velocity can be adjusted for most effective odour removal solution.
- They can be installed at supply air units, recirculation units and extract systems.
- Pre filters of grade MERV 8 are recommended to protect carbon filter from getting dust clogged. After filters (MERV 8 and above) take care of carbon fine dust from entering the air stream.
- The Housings are leak proof constructed with a stable and secured design.
- The filters are held in place by robust clamping mechanisms which ensures tight sealing and prevents chance of air leakage
- The Housings can easily be mounted between the ducts.
- The Modular design provides seamless integration with a variety of HVAC equipment and operational environments.
- The Condos are easy to handle and install at site.
- No separate tools are needed to install and replace the filters
- The housing walls can be Single skin or Double walled insulated construction (for heat insulation and to prevent condensation). The Galvanized steel / Mild steel/ Stainless steel housings with powder coated finish provide excellent strength and rigidity.
- Side access door provided for filter installation, inspection and maintenance.
- For units greater than 1250 meter wide, access door can be provided on both sides of housing. Please consult factory
- For installation of carbon trays and panels, V-type slide in filter tracks can be provided inside the condos.
- The filters are installed by sliding into the filter tracks or channels provided in housing.
- Dual access door can be provided for bigger housings to handle large air volumes.
- Filters are selected based on Application, Efficiency requirements, airflow, pressure drop, velocity, type of contaminant to be arrested, contaminant concentration.
- Technical Drawings shall be provided during the production process for client approval.
- Transition Duct works can also be provided upon request.
