Features & Advantages
- The CONDO Opera OT modules is used in Operation Theatre for providing laminar flow filtered air.
- The Laminar flow Terminal modules are used as final filtration at room ceiling side with H14 grade HEPA filters.
- The laminar flow system complies with ASHRAE / ASHE Standard-170 and NFS 90-351.
- Optimal aseptic conditions are being achieved due to laminar air flow which is gradually directed toward exhaust openings.
- The Laminar OT improve quality and cleanliness of air in hospitals with the aim of avoiding pathogen transmission between patients and medical crew.
- The system is especially recommended for operating rooms with high aseptic conditions for conducting transplants, cardiac surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmic.
- The system can be built as a single element or as separate units for ease of handling, transportation, positioning and assembly at site.
- Recommended air flow velocity above operation table is between 30-50 fpm.
- The recommended Air change rate as per ASHRAE standard in operation theatre is 20 or higher for unidirectional flow. Recirculation unit is not recommended by ASHRAE.
- The height of the unit is 450 mm or above, depending on filter depth and spigot size.
- The spigot connections can be rectangular type or circular type. The rectangular spigot will have flanges to connect with duct work.
- The hood shall have channels to fix the HEPA filter. In case of Gel seal HEPA filter, integral knife edge shall be provided.
- The diffuser plate shall have hemmed edges.
- A wide range of HEPA filter choices based on airflow handling capacity and pressure drop criteria can be opted for.
- The HEPA filters are tested and certified as per EN 1822 and complies to ISO 14644 standard of testing.
- Filters are selected based on airflow, efficiency and pressure drop requirements.
- All the hoods shall be fully leak tested, visually inspected and tested as per the standards for the Zero leak performance.
- In house test certificates are provided for HEPA filter and housing Box certifying its leak proof performance.
