Features & Advantages
- The Giga Combo Unit consists of the full set of cylindrical holding frame with cartridge filter. The Cylinders can easily be fitted at site.
- This is the most preferred heavy duty molecular filter which is used to remove odours and capture Toxic gases from supply air, extract air systems and recirculation units.
- These filters can be used in normal HVAC systems or Industrial process exhaust treatment units.
- The Mounting system with filters is designed to minimize dimensions and pressure drop thus giving the possibility of treating high volumes of air.
- Multiple mounting frames can be assembled at site by bolting together. This allows handling very high airflows. This also allows quick and easy servicing.
- The Cylinders are connected using a quick fastening system to the supporting frame and supports both 18” & 24” deep cartridges. This is a rapid fitting system.
- The complete assembly (frame and filter) is leak proof with gaskets coming on cylinders as well.
- The residence time of 0.10 second can be increased by reducing velocity below 500 fpm for full size holding frame. This ensures stringent odour control in critical areas.
- The cylindrical geometry ensures symmetrical air distribution and hence best in class performance
- Plastic Cylinders can be supplied for corrosion resistance and reduced weight
- The filter consists of loose carbon granules (Pellets) or chemically impregnated granules for arresting odour, smell and other toxic and corrosive airborne molecules. The media can also be blended type of Carbon and Alumina (impregnated with KMno4) depending on target gas to be arrested.
- The contaminant gas is removed by the process of adsorption and Chemisorption.
- The filter packs highest carbon media in a given volume & hence very long-life span
- The filter can be used to target gases like SO2, H2S, NO2, formaldehyde, Ammonia, amines, aldehydes etc. For this special purpose granules and Multiple stages of gas phase filters can be deployed.
- The Carbon granules has a minimum CTC activity rate of 60%
- The Cylinders can be refilled with granules by returning back to factory
- Factors that need to be taken into consideration while selecting the filter include available space, airflow volumes, residence time, type of contaminant, concentration of contaminants and desired media life.
