Features & Advantages
- The Gigacarbo MD filter are heavy duty Gas phase filters used to remove Odours and corrosive gases from recirculation units, supply air and extract air systems.
- The Granules (Pellets) are filled in Plastic / metal modules with mesh support on both sides. The Panels are arranged in V-Type configuration inside the filter.
- Modules are in standard sizes suitable to fit into the filter housings or HVAC unit.
- Offers removal efficiency of 95-98% at factory recommended design parameters.
- The plastic modules are suitable for varying climates and environmental conditions.
- The module’s rigid frame eliminates the possibility of bowing, which could cause air bypass within the system.
- The contaminant gas is removed by the process of adsorption and Chemisorption.
- The filter consists of loose carbon granules (Pellets) or chemically impregnated granules for arresting odour, smell and other toxic and corrosive airborne molecules. The media can also be blended type of Carbon and Alumina (impregnated with KMno4) depending on target gas to be arrested.
- The filter can be used to target gases like SO2, H2S, NO2, formaldehyde, Ammonia, amines, aldehydes etc. For this special purpose granules and Multiple stages of gas phase filters can be employed.
- The Carbon granules has a minimum CTC activity rate of 60%
- These filters can be used in normal HVAC systems or Industrial process exhaust treatment units (deep bed Air scrubber systems).
- The Filter offers low pressure drop and long-life span.
- The Filter box can be provided in depths of 12” and 18” or 24” as per client requirement
- The Trays can be refilled with granules by sending back to factory
- The modules to minimize maintenance time and reduce whole-life costs.
- Factors that need to be taken into consideration while selecting the filter include available space, airflow volumes, residence time, type of contaminant, concentration of contaminants and desired media life.
