Features & Advantages
- The GT Glass Filter is a Disposable media filter of Continuous glass fibers with progressive density Coated with tackifier for harsh and humid Climatic conditions.
- It has Continuously-spun Tackifier glass fibre media which is resin bonded.
- The media is Dimensionally elastic glass-fiber medium with a progressive structure.
- The media has Open structured face side (Green/ Blue / Yellow) and increasing fiber density towards the clean air side (white).
- The filter frame is made of Plastic or metallic type with Diagonal media support on both sides of media.
- By compressing the media pads into smaller frames of 1” & 2” thickness, the density and therefore the efficiency is increased even more.
- When the filter reaches its replacement pressure drop, the media alone can be taken out and replaced by removing the Diagonal media support. Hence this is a cost-effective Pre-filter for Gas Turbine and Industrial applications.
- The media is available in Grades G3/G4 as per EN 779 & MERV 6 / MERV8 as per ASHRAE 52.2 test standards.
- Used for Coarse Filtration application in Fresh air Intake Filtration of Gas turbines, Industrial Plants, Marine and Coastal AHUs, On shore and Off shore applications, Engine Rooms, Compressor plants.
- These Filters protect the Gas turbine from air borne contaminants that cause erosion and corrosion to the turbine blades. This improves the performance of the turbine blade thus reducing the turbine repair and turbine down time.
- This works like a combination filter for Coarse particulate matter and Coalescer filter.
- The media is thermally stable up to 80 Deg C
- The media has High dust holding capacity combined with lower pressure drops.
- These filters can be installed in new or existing systems and arranged either in banks or in filter housings or used as media rolls itself.
- These filters can be manufactured in a range of standard and non-standard sizes.
