- The MEGA PLEATPAK filters are a new generation of powerful, efficient, economic and durable cassette filters offering operational reliability and cost efficiency for supply of air filtration systems.
- The MEGA PLEATPAK Filter is Designed for Fine filtration application of air intake systems in general ventilation and air handling unit installed in public buildings, offices, factories, Industries, Cleanrooms in hospitals and pharmaceutical industry. They are used for prevention of dust build up in heating and cooling coils within ventilation systems.
- Used as Prefilter to extend the operational lifetime of downstream HEPA Filters from premature replacement in cleanroom applications and can be used as main filter also.
- Intended to be used in typical humid environments and where there is exposure to intermittent mist or spray.
- Available in filter grade of M5 to F7 as per EN 779 / MERV10 to MERV 13 as per ASHRAE 52.2 filtration standards.
- The filter media is Self- Supporting synthetic fibre (Polyester) which is bonded to filter frame.
- The self-supporting media is hot-melt sealed into the outer frame and eliminates any air or contaminant bypass.
- The media does not require separate wire mesh support and has high durability and strength without deformation.
- Since the wire mesh support is absent, it eliminates rust formation and provides safe handling for the installer.
- The frame is fabricated from ABS plastic material.
- Consistent pleat arrangement increases filter efficiency, lowers pressure drop and increases strength and durability.
- The filter is available in a number of standard and non-standard sizes and versatile for various applications. The nominal filter thickness is 12”.
- Due to the plastic frame’s light weight, sturdy and compact size it is relatively easy to handle and ship.
- Media is non-fibre shedding type
- They can be used as a disposable filter or as a washable filter. The MEGA Pleatpak filter can be hosed with water from the clean air side, twice or thrice during the filter life span.
