Features & Advantages
- Used as Prefiltration in ventilation & Air conditioning units to extend the operational lifetime of downstream Fine Filters. Employed to Prevent dust accumulation in heating and cooling coils.
- Robust construction with consistent media extends the service life of filter
- The filter pack is enclosed in a moisture resistant, die-cut frame that will not wrap, crack or distort under normal operating conditions
- The number of pleats is almost 40-50% higher when compared to normal disposable filter resulting in lower pressure drop, higher dust holding capacity and longer service life.
- The filter has a grade of G4 as per EN 779 / MERV 8 as per ASHRAE 52.2
- It is fire rated classified under UL 900 for flammability.
- The media pack is bonded to the frame in order to prevent any possibility of air leakage
- The media is bonded to galvanized metal grid on air-exit side to prevent fluttering, and maintain uniformity of pleats – the grid is rust proof
- Deeper pleats result in longer filter life and more time between change-outs
- A large surface is provided by pleating the media which forms a Radial V-Design which ensures optimum media utilization
- Low initial Pressure Drop helps saving energy
- These filters can be used without modifications in side-access filter housing or built-up filter banks
- Diagonal front and back retainers are an integral part of filter frame
- Integral pleat separators on the 4” filters provide additional pleat stabilization for most demanding applications
- The 4” deep filters can handle velocities up to 600 fpm
